More Wailea & Maui Fun...
There are lots of activities and things to do right at Ekahi Village. We have always felt that Ekahi is wonderful because of its ocean front location, private beach access from its ocean front pool & BBQ area, beach pavilion, 3 quiet pools, paddle tennis and low density. Pricing here is a great value for beach front Wailea.
Ekahi is made up of 54 two-story buildings on 33 beautifully landscaped acres beach front on Keawakapu Beach at the north end of Wailea. Located in “Sunny South Maui” you can walk the beach to Sorentos and 5 Palms for delightful meals or wander south to the hotels of Wailea and the 2 mile ocean front board walk.
We enjoy the aloha spirit of Maui, walks along the beach and the Wailea ocean front board walk, watching the whales (November through March), beautiful sunsets and moon rises from our very private and tranquil lanai and snorkelling at Keawakapu and Mokapu/Ulua beaches. The views of the impressive Haleakala (the world’s largest dormant volcano) and the colourful Ekahi gardens are also great.
We still haven’t explored all of Maui. The beauty and peace of Ekahi and golf at Wailea courses seem to keep us busy, but there is much we’d like to see.
Haleakela offers amazing moonscape views. The Blue Pools and other waterfalls make great destinations for hikes in the West Maui Mountains or on the Road to Hana. Helicopter tours can get you there too.
Golf is not inexpensive but guests at our condo can get preferred rates at the 3 Wailea courses and nearby Maui Nui too. Same with the Championship Wailea Tennis club. Night tennis and dining at Matteo’s are a great favorite.
Head up-country to visit protea farms, our winery or just go for good food at the Kula Inn. More wonderful food in all price ranges can be found in our South Maui environs.
Check the guest book and instructions manual in our condo for more specific info on restaurants and activities.
